With the launch of recyclable packaging[1]<\/a> in January 2025 for baking improvers, mixes, premixes and sourdoughs products suited from craft bakers to industrial customers in Bulgaria, Baking with Lesaffre provides its partners with the opportunity to further their CSR initiatives.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The new strippable bags have been designed to be recyclable, thanks to the use of unbleached FSC\u00ae or PEFC\u00ae sourcing certified paper, available in various formats. The packaging is also suited to existing collection and recycling channels in Europe, featuring a single pictogram to recognize the recyclable design for all baking solutions, while reducing the printing surface up to 50%.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Step by step, all of our baking products\u2019s packaging is evolving to be ready to separate materials or achieve at least 95% recyclability.<\/p>

This autumn, one of the best-known brands of dry yeast on the market in our country – Saf-instant will appear with a new attractive look. Also known in our country as “French yeast”, recognizable until now in a beige packet, Saf will now also externally suggest its origin. Its new packaging is decided in the colors of the French flag, and the perfect quality proven over the years remains unchanged.On the occasion of 50 years since the creation of Saf-instant, the manufacturing company unified the design of all existing packaging around the world using the colors of the French flag. Baking Center Academy supports Refugee Integration in Bulgaria<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Baking Center\u2122 Sofia, part of Lesaffre Bulgaria, has completed an initiative aimed at integrating political refugees by providing them with an opportunity for additional professional qualification in the field of “Bread Production.”<\/p>

The Baking Center Academy initiative was carried out in partnership with the Bulgarian Red Cross, with whom Lesaffre Bulgaria has a long-standing relationship. Other key partners included the “Rulan” training center and Maria Tsacheva\u2014an instructor and owner of the “Provence” bakery in the village of Chavdar.<\/p>

“The first graduating class of the academy is now a reality\u2014nine Ukrainians have successfully completed their training and received certificates allowing them to practice their new profession,” Lesaffre Bulgaria announced.<\/p>

With the official completion of the pilot project of the Baking Center Academy, Lesaffre Bulgaria hopes to further develop the initiative, producing more successful graduates\u2014master bakers who will not only learn a new trade but also contribute to the industry’s growth and bring fresh expertise to the sector.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
