The technology was groundbreaking for its time-a leading innovation from Lesaffre Group that has inspired and simplified the baker’s life every day.
Many professionals and enthusiasts trust the Saf-instant brand and attest to its quality, while Lesaffre, as a pioneer and expert in fermentation processes, has proudly stood behind it for 50 years.
To celebrate the anniversary of its iconic product, Lesaffre is organizing various activities for both its employees and consumers. By the end of the year, official competitions for amateur and professional bakers will be held worldwide, offering tempting prizes! Lesaffre Bulgaria will also participate.
Baking Center™ Sofia, part of Lesaffre Bulgaria, has completed an initiative aimed at integrating political refugees by providing them with an opportunity for additional professional qualification in the field of “Bread Production.”
The Baking Center Academy initiative was carried out in partnership with the Bulgarian Red Cross, with whom Lesaffre Bulgaria has a long-standing relationship. Other key partners included the “Rulan” training center and Maria Tsacheva—an instructor and owner of the “Provence” bakery in the village of Chavdar.
“The first graduating class of the academy is now a reality—nine Ukrainians have successfully completed their training and received certificates allowing them to practice their new profession,” Lesaffre Bulgaria announced.
With the official completion of the pilot project of the Baking Center Academy, Lesaffre Bulgaria hopes to further develop the initiative, producing more successful graduates—master bakers who will not only learn a new trade but also contribute to the industry’s growth and bring fresh expertise to the sector.
